The LYA offers a variety of activities for teenagers, many of which are free of charge:

  • After School Open Gym – this program takes place in the Fall and Spring at the Crossway Village gym. There is no charge for this program.
  • After School Program at Lee Middle and High School – students have a comfortable environment where they can socialize and take part in activities as well as receive help with their homework. There is no charge for this program.
  • Afterschool Guitar Lessons – take place at LMHS and costs $5 per lesson.
  • Various Exercise Programs – available throughout the school year such as Kickboxing, Boot Camp, and so on. There are no charge for exercise classes.
  • Mentoring Opportunities – this is a volunteer opportunity for middle and high school students. This program allows them to mentor an elementary school student in our Homework Help Program.
  • Community Service – if your teen is looking to fill required community service hours, we have various opportunities in our programs as well as special events.
  • Internships and Employment – there are opportunities to intern at the LYA in one of our programs or possibly secure employment.

We also hold annual Job Fairs and Career Readiness Workshops at LMHS to help prepare our teens for their future as they move on to further their education or enter the workforce.
